Key Performance Features
15 kW Peak Power & 750 N Thrust: High-torque brushless electric motor (BLDC) delivers immediate acceleration and impressive top-end output when paired with an adequate power source.
Speeds Up to 45 km/h: High discharge velocity enables hull speeds of up to 45 km/h.
Ultra-Durable 2205 Duplex Impeller: Custom-cast and CNC-machined from 2205 Duplex stainless steel—one of the most durable, wear-resistant materials available. Built to withstand extreme cavitation, erosion, and harsh saltwater conditions.
Versatile Compatibility for Small Craft: Perfect propulsion engine for autonomous surface vessels (USVs), commercial survey craft, DIY mini jet boats, and other small personal watercraft.
Precision Thrust Vectoring Steering: Innovative nozzle bowl design maintains clean, highly focused water flow direction regardless of steering angle. With a full 60° steering articulation (30° to each side), vessels achieve exceptional agility and an ultra-tight turning radius.
Low External Thermal Signature: Full-coverage water-jacket cooling keeps the outer motor casing below 30 °C during operation, eliminating heat radiation inside enclosed hulls and protecting sensitive electronics.
Pre-Programmed Plug & Play ESC: Comes with a factory pre-programmed Electronic Speed Controller (ESC) straight out of the box, completely eliminating the need for complex software configuration or manual calibration.
Removable Intake Guard for Easy Maintenance: Includes a quick-removable bottom intake guard, allowing fast and effortless clearing of debris or foreign objects caught in shallow waters.
Direct High Pressure Water Cooling: Integrated water pickup channels coolant directly from the jet pump to the motor and ESC. No additional cooling pump is needed.
Optional PCU Connectivity: For the ultimate plug-and-play setup, pair this system with our optional Power Control Unit (PCU) to connect your remote controller instantly without custom wiring.

Battery & Power Requirements
To achieve nominal output and maximum peak speeds, the propulsion system requires a high-discharge battery setup capable of meeting the motor’s current demands:
Current Capacity: The battery pack must be capable of continuously delivering 210 A.
Operating Voltage: 48 V – 72 V DC (nominal).
Peak Performance Output: The propulsion system delivers its absolute maximum performance and top speeds (up to 45 km/h) when a fully charged 72V Li-Ion pack supplies the power.
Recommended Cell Chemistries: We highly recommend Li-Ion or LiFePO4 chemistries. We strongly recommend Li-Ion NMC prismatic cells to achieve the ultimate power-to-weight ratio and peak current discharge.
Compliance Note: The user is solely responsible for verifying local laws and safety regulations regarding allowable voltage levels for recreational or unmanned vessels in their operating region.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)
What happens if my battery is not powerful enough?
If your battery pack cannot continuously supply 210 A, the jet drive will as a result fail to reach its nominal power. Consequently, you will experience lower overall thrust and speed. In addition, if the voltage drops below 38 V, the system will therefore trigger the ESC low-voltage protection shutoff.
How fast can my vessel go with this system?
The jet pump achieves a discharge velocity capable of driving lightweight hulls up to 45 km/h. Specifically, this performance is achievable because of the high-discharge 20S battery compatibility. However, actual top speeds will ultimately depend on vessel weight and hull hydrodynamics.
Can I install this jet drive in a custom mini jet boat?
Yes, absolutely! Although this system is widely used in commercial USVs, it is specifically engineered as a universal propulsion unit. Therefore, it is an ideal choice for mini jet boats as well as small tenders and custom watercraft.
Why is 2205 Duplex steel used for the impeller?
2205 Duplex stainless steel is one of the strongest marine alloys available. In fact, it provides double the strength of standard 316 stainless steel. Because of this material quality, the impeller offers exceptional resistance against cavitation erosion and long-term saltwater corrosion.
Do I need to program or calibrate the ESC before use?
No, not at all. Because the kit includes a factory pre-programmed ESC, no calibration is required. Furthermore, you can install it directly out of the box without any manual throttle tuning or software configuration.
What materials do you use for the other metal parts?
We manufacture all other water-contact metal parts from marine-grade SS316 (A4) stainless steel and craft the motor shell from anodized aluminum.
